창조의 찬양
하나님의 영광을 선포하는 창조 세계“하늘이 하나님의 영광을 선포하고 궁창이 그의 손으로 하신 일을 나타내는도다. 날은 날에게 말하고 밤은 밤에게 지식을 전하니 언어도 없고 말씀도 없으며 들리는 소리도 없으나 그의 소리가 온 땅에 통하고 그의 말씀이 세상 끝까지 이르도다. 하나님이 해를 위하여 하늘에 장막을 베푸셨도다.”
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. 하나님께서 창조하신 모든 것은 그분의 영광을 위해 존재합니다. 시편은 창조 속의 모든 피조물들이 하나님을 찬양한다고 선포하며, 온 세상에 울려 퍼지는 하나님의 영광을 노래합니다. 우리 또한 하나님이 지으신 이 아름다운 세계를 바라볼 때, 그분의 위대하심을 느끼며 마음 깊은 곳에서부터 찬양이 흘러나오게 됩니다. 창조 세계는 하나님이 어떤 분이신지를 드러내며, 그분의 영광과 자비와 아름다움을 우리에게 보여줍니다. 그렇기에 우리는 자연을 통해 하나님을 더욱 깊이 묵상할 수 있습니다.
이처럼 창조 세계를 바라볼 때, 우리는 그 안에 담긴 하나님의 선하심과 아름다움을 깨닫게 되고, 그 깨달음은 자연스럽게 하나님을 향한 찬양으로 이어집니다. 그리고 그 찬양은 단순한 말에 머무르지 않고, 하나님이 지으신 세상을 사랑하고 아끼며 귀히 여기는 삶으로 이어집니다. 주님을 사랑하고 따르는 우리 또한, 창조 세계를 통해 하나님을 바라보며 찬양하는 삶을 살아가길 원합니다. 하나님을 경외하는 마음으로, 그분이 허락하신 이 아름다운 세계를 소중히 여기고 돌보며, 우리의 삶으로 하나님께 영광을 돌리는 자들이 되기를 소망합니다.
Everything God created exists for His glory. The Psalmist proclaims that all creatures in creation praise God, singing of God’s glory that echoes across the whole earth. When we observe this beautiful world that God created, we feel His greatness and praise flows out from deep within our hearts. Creation reveals who God is and shows us His glory, mercy, and beauty. Therefore, we can contemplate God more deeply through nature.
When we observe creation this way, we recognize God’s goodness and beauty within it, and this realization naturally leads to praise of God. And this praise does not remain in mere words, but extends to a life of loving, cherishing, and valuing the world that God created. As followers who love and follow the Lord, we too desire to live lives that behold and praise God through His creation. With hearts that revere God, cherishing and caring for this beautiful world He has granted us, we hope to become those who give glory to God through our lives.

하나님이 지으신 창조 세계는 이미 그 자체로 하나님을 찬양하고 있습니다. 우리의 일상 속 작은 선택, 무엇을 사용하고, 어떻게 소비하고, 무엇을 바라보며 살아가는지는 우리가 하나님의 창조 세계를 얼마나 소중히 여기고 있는지를 드러냅니다. 우리가 어떻게 사용하고 소비하는지가, 하나님을 향한 우리의 태도를 드러낼 수 있습니다.
God’s creation already praises Him by its very existence. The small choices in our daily lives—what we use, how we consume, and what we behold as we live—reveal how much we cherish God’s created world. How we use and consume can reveal our attitude toward God.
